Depois de aparecer surfando com a rabeta em chamas nas Ilhas Mentawaii, Bruce Irons novamente surpreendeu o mundo do surf aprontando mais uma das suas. Dessa vez Bruce encarou o desafio de surfar Teahupoo com os olhos vendados. Isso mesmo, na onda que a grande maioria amarela com os olhos abertos, ele tirou a maior onda e surfou, confortavelmente, tubos completamente cegos. A peripécia teve a ajuda do pessoal da revista STAB.
